ADMISSION: Adult admission $TBA, Senior admission (62 & over) $6, Children (6 to 11) $TBA, Children 5 and under are admitted TBA (Rides are not included).  Rides are not included.  Rides are individually priced.  A ticket is required for all persons aged 3 and over for concerts held in the Racetrack Infield.   

NOTE!  Pets are not allowed with the exception of Medical Dogs and Dogs participating in the 4-H/FFA portion of the Maryland State Fair.

RIDE TICKETSIndividual ride tickets may be purchased on the Midway at the Ride Ticket Booths (various locations throughout Midway). Tickets are $TBA each and each ride uses approximately TBA rides tickets.  Discount Ticket Sheets are also available: 50 tickets for $TBA.

OTHER FAIR INFORMATION:

LIVE THOROUGHBRED HORSERACING & SIMULCASTING (ONLY DURING THE 12 DAYS OF THE MARYLAND STATE FAIR):
 The Maryland State Fair is home to a 5/8th mile oval track, which overlooks scenic York Road.  Live simulcast racing begins, TBA.  Post time is 1PM.

Grandstand Grille (located in the Racetrack Grandstand) will be open TBA.


PARKING: Limited parking is available on the Fairgrounds for $TBA. Free parking is available at the Park and Ride location on Deereco Road west of the Fairgrounds. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicapped parking is available. Please see the fairgrounds parkers, and they will direct you to the appropriate and closest handicapped parking area. Because convenient parking is limited, we encourage the use of the Light Rail. 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Fairgoers can take LocalLink 93 with service between Towson, Lutherville Light Rail, to Hunt Valley International Circle, and boarding or alighting at the Timonium Fairground stop on Greenspring Drive.  Passengers from Downtown Baltimore can use the CityLink Red located at Baltimore and Green streets to Lutherville Light Rail stop, and transfer to LocalLink 93. Travelers from the north can take Light Rail from Hunt Valley or the LocalLink 93 line, which originates at International Circle in Hunt Valley. Passengers can use LocalLink 52 from North Avenue to Macy’s Store on Dulaney Valley Road and transfer to LocalLink 93.

HAND WASHING STATIONS: Hand washing stations are set-up throughout the fairgrounds for you and your family’s convenience. Make sure that once you and your family are finished visiting the animals that they make good use of the hand washing stations! 


CAMPING: Camping is not available during the Maryland State Fair and is ONLY available throughout the year, for Vendors of Maryland State Fairground events!  The fee for camping is $25 per day and the security will collect these fees each evening. There is sewer, water and electric available during the summer months, and because we winterize everything during the winter water will not be available during the winter season. Check with the security office at 410-252-0200 x230 to make sure that security will be available and that the gates will be open.

Child/diaper bags, clear bags if possible

Fireworks
Weapons, including but not limited to guns, knives, scissors, stun guns, tasers, brass knuckles, tasers
Selfie sticks
Duffle bags
Mace/Pepper spray

The Maryland State Fair reserves the right to confiscate any such item(s.)

All persons entering The Maryland State Fairgrounds and their camera bags, purses and containers are subject to direct/indirect physical search.

Demonstrations, protests, vigils of any nature are prohibited on the grounds and premises of The Maryland State Fairgrounds, during The Maryland State Fair, and during any and all events and functions.

FAIRGOERS ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES ASSOCIATED WITH ATTENDING THE MARYLAND STATE FAIR, INCLUDING SEEN AND UNFORESEEN MATTERS.  IN THE CASE OF ANY SUCH CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE MARYLAND STATE FAIR, ATTENDEES EXPRESSLY WAVE AND AGREE TO RELEASE THE VENUE AND ALL ITS AGENTS, PERFORMERS, AS WELL AS MISSIONTIX AND ALL ITS AGENTS FROM THOSE CLAIMS.  ATTENDEES AGREE TO ABIDE BY ALL VENUE GATE/SECURITY/PARKING/ADMISSION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BACKPACK, WANDING, SEARCHES, NO WEAPONS, NO DRONES, NO SELFIE STICKS.  
 
The venue reserves the right to refuse admission to any attendee in the event of disorderly or abusive conduct, inappropriate language, or as management determines.  The venue also reserves the right to eject or decline admission to any person(s) for conduct or language deemed inappropriate by management. Under these provision, the attendee is entitled to no refunds or remuneration of any kind. Unauthorized sale, resale, or attempted resale is illegal and may result in seizure and cancellation without compensation. THE MARYLAND STATE FAIR DOES NOT ENGAGE IN, NOR HONOR ANY COMP OR SOLD TICKETS VIA THIRD PARTY. Ticket is only valid for the date, time, event, and area issued on the ticket.
